Description
The Rosemount 400 / 400VP Endurance Conductivity Sensor uses a two-electrode contacting design with concentric titanium electrodes separated by a PEEK insulator, ensuring precise and stable conductivity measurement. It is available in multiple cell constants (0.01, 0.1, 1.0, and 10 cm⁻¹) to cover a wide range of conductivity levels from high-purity water to cooling water applications. The sensor is designed for direct screw-in installation using a 3/4-inch MNPT process connection and can also be used in flow cells or sidestream installations. It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 105°C (up to 200°C with high-temperature option) and supports pressures up to 250 psig (17 bar), making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
In addition, the sensor features a factory-measured cell constant that eliminates the need for initial calibration, ensuring accurate “out-of-the-box” performance. The 400VP variant includes a Variopol quick-disconnect system, allowing fast sensor replacement without rewiring, which significantly reduces maintenance time. Built with chemically resistant materials such as 316 stainless steel, titanium electrodes, and Viton O-rings, it delivers long service life in corrosive or continuous-use applications.
