Rosemount Model TUpH 396R / 396RVP pH/ORP Sensor

The Rosemount Model TUpH 396R / 396RVP pH/ORP Sensor is specifically engineered for applications where direct process insertion is required and traditional sensors struggle due to coating, solids, or difficult access. It utilizes a retractable design that allows installation through a ball valve, enabling safe removal and maintenance without shutting down the process. The sensor incorporates a large-area TUpH reference junction that resists fouling and maintains a stable reference signal even in dirty and high-solid environments. Built with a titanium tube and molded polypropylene housing, it offers excellent chemical resistance and mechanical durability. It supports both pH and ORP measurements and includes advanced diagnostics through a titanium solution ground, helping detect coating or sensor degradation early.

In addition, the sensor features a gel-filled electrolyte system and a helical reference pathway that minimizes poisoning and extends operational life. The protective slotted tip design prevents glass breakage while allowing process fluid contact for accurate measurement. It is available in two versions: the 396R with integral cable and the 396RVP with Variopol quick-disconnect connector for easy replacement. With operating capability up to 100°C and pressure ratings up to 150 psig, along with multiple insertion lengths (e.g., 21” and 36”), the sensor provides flexible and reliable performance in critical industrial liquid analysis applications.
