The Rosemount 3051SAL Liquid Level Transmitter uses an innovative electronic remote sensor (ERS) architecture, where two pressure sensors are electronically linked to calculate differential pressure without the need for long capillaries or impulse lines. This design significantly improves accuracy and response time, especially in tall columns and distillation towers where conventional systems struggle with temperature effects and lag. It supports gauge, absolute, and differential pressure measurements with ranges up to 10,000 psia (690 bar), while maintaining stable and repeatable performance across varying process conditions. The system also offers flexible installation options including direct mounting, remote mounting, and Tuned-System™ assemblies, enabling optimized performance in a wide range of industrial setups.
