The Dräger Sensor XXS SO2 (6810885) is a compact electrochemical sensor for monitoring sulfur dioxide (SO2) in ambient air. Its XXS construction is designed for integration into compatible Drager portable gas detection instruments.
The sensor has a 0–100 ppm SO2 measuring range with a 0.1 ppm resolution. Drager specifies a T90 response time of ≤15 seconds, providing the specified response characteristics for sulfur dioxide measurement.
The sensor provides very good linearity across the complete measuring range and has an expected lifetime of more than three years under typical use. Where H2S cross-sensitivity needs to be eliminated, the optional KX selective filter (6811344) is available for this sensor.
