Description
The Siemens SIMATIC ET 200SP F-DI 8×24 V DC HF provides 8 fail-safe digital inputs for acquiring signals from safety-related field devices. The inputs operate at a rated 24 V DC, with a signal “0” range of −30 to +5 V and a signal “1” range of +15 to +30 V. The module supports source/sink input operation and follows the IEC 61131 Type 1 input characteristic. Standard input delays are parameterizable between 0.4 ms and 20 ms, allowing the response behavior to be adapted to different safety-device applications. Siemens also specifies a typical signal “1” input current of 3.7 mA.
The module provides comprehensive diagnostic indication through RUN, ERROR, PWR, channel-status, channel-diagnostic, and DIAG LEDs, while diagnostic alarms are supported for identifying module or field conditions.
