Description
The Bently Nevada 3500/22M Data Interface Module (TDI) serves as the link between the 3500 monitoring system and compatible software, including System 1 Condition Monitoring and 3500 System Configuration. It combines the functions of a 3500/20 Rack Interface Module (RIM) with the data collection capabilities of a communication processor, allowing continuous capture of steady-state and transient waveform data from M-series monitors (3500/40M, 3500/42M, etc.) and forwarding it via Ethernet to host software.
The TDI fits in the slot next to the 3500 rack power supplies and supports static data capture by default. With an optional Channel Enabling Disk, it can also record dynamic and high-resolution transient data. While the TDI handles data collection and communication, it does not interfere with the rack’s critical monitoring path or the normal operation of machinery protection. Every 3500 rack requires one TDI or RIM, always installed in Slot 1.
