About the Work at Height Training Course

Course Objectives

The General Application Regulations 2007 require employers to ensure that a sufficient risk assessment is carried out so that all potential work at height risks are effectively identified, controlled and managed. Every employer must also ensure that employees are appropriately trained to ensure that they can carry out their work safely.

Work at Height course will help you to comply with Irelands General Application Regulations 2007 by providing both employers and employees with the necessary information required to be able to successfully deal with working at height related risks along with any control measures.

Note:

Abrasive wheels can be extremely dangerous if not used correctly, and this course should not be used instead of practical training, but rather to work alongside practical training to ensure delegates understand their legal responsibilities.

The majority of accidents involving work at height are caused by inadequate risk assessments or operator error
